Border Security Alliance Blasts FDA After New AP Report Shows Failure to Act While China Got Millions of American Kids Hooked on Illegal, Disposable Vapes

PHOENIX, AZ - Border Security Alliance President Jobe Dickinson blasted the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the wake of a breaking news report from the Associated Press showing how the agency failed American parents and young people by allowing millions of illegal, disposable, flavored vapes to enter the U.S. from China.

“China has been pouring millions of illegal, disposable vapes into the United States in flavors like gummy bear and rainbow cotton candy. It doesn’t take a genius to know who the target is for these dangerous products: vulnerable American kids,” said Border Security Alliance President Jobe Dickinson. “The scathing new report from the Associated Press lays bare the consequences of the FDA’s failure to take strong, sustained, meaningful enforcement action against illegal, disposable vapes. With the health and safety of millions of young people on the line, the FDA has got to show the American people that it is willing and capable of getting the job done. The FDA and Biden administration must take immediate action, in cooperation with state and local agencies, to get all of these illegal, disposable, flavored vapes off store shelves and stop them from pouring into our country.”
