Border Security Alliance Statement Regarding AG Mayes Requesting FDA Enforce Existing E-Cigarette Laws

PHOENIX, AZ - Border Security Alliance President Jobe Dickinson issued the following statement regarding Arizona Attorney General Mayes joining a bipartisan group of attorneys general in calling for the FDA to enforce existing e-cigarette laws:

"While a blanket stance of prohibition only serves to fuel illicit markets, we applaud Attorney General Mayes for joining a bipartisan group of attorneys general in calling for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to promptly enforce existing laws against illegal vapes and e-cigarettes.

"We have repeatedly warned that kids are the most vulnerable to illegal vapes that are pouring in from China and over our borders. Prioritizing enforcement against the illegal, foreign-made vapes that are most popular amongst children will help save young lives. No more excuses; the FDA needs to act."
